At the beginning of the project, there was a total void of didactical tools about the environment of the Tonle Sap Lake. Osmose therefore had to conceive, design and produce a series of supports to conduct its environmental education program. In 2002, the Air France Foundation funded the printing of a series of posters on the fauna of the lake in Khmer and Engish. The posters were then distributed and presented to all schools around the lake. A series of posters on the flora of the inundated forest followed in 2005 (funded by UNESCO). In the meantime, Osmose contributed chapters to the first book published on the extraordinary Tonle Sap for the larger public : The Tonle Sap Great Lake, a Pulse of Life. In 2005, Osmose also produces a travel booklet (A boat journey from Battambang to Siem Reap) for the tour operator Asian Trails. Birders will happily forage in Cambodia Bird News, a periodical published by Osmose and WCS from 2000 to 2005.
